Laura Mulvey's theory is very feminist and offers ideas that are a strong opinion in her everyday life.
Laura Mulvey suggests that because film makers are predominantly male that any women in their works are seen to be sexualised and place as objects and of less power than the men in the video.
She also mentions what she calls "the Gaze" this is explained as seeing women on display as an object for men to view and control.
with this in mind she feels that music videos are made with a sexualised and objectified view of women.
